Communications Blog

Students

With my students, I will use email and canvas as my main means of communication. I will allow them to know my office number as well so that they can call me if they need to get a hold of me quickly. I will have my students turn on their canvas announcements so that they will be able to get urgent updates and quick information easily. 

Parents

With parents, I will only use email or occasional phone calls to keep in contact with them. I am very big on minimalizing the use of technology, so I will try my hardest to communicate first and foremost in person - especially when communicating important or confidential information. 

Professional Personnel

With other teachers or professional personnel that I work with, I will most likely continue to use email so that everything remains professional within the workspace.
